Casey remains a very private individual, and therefore very not much information regarding her family, childhood or schooling has been made public. They declined due to time constraints and the fact that Casey Nezhoda was in charge of caring for their children's needs as Rene focused on business. The couple were able to appear during the fourth season as regular cast members they also acted as buyers during the first six episodes prior to when they joined the cast as main actors in the subsequent season.
